Positive: Well made, springs tight. Negative: Metal ring that holds them together pretty flimsy. All bent up trying to put it together.
So far so good, very solid piece of gear. Spring is heavy enough for zip ties or as a glove holder (not thick stuff but think Mechanic gloves or cloth. I never trusted a carabineer that comes with any product so don't take offense when I say I've upgraded with one of my retired climbing ones 25kN, this baby isn't going places. The holder when used as intended is holding up to snags on rogue nails and such more so the ties/ gloves and not on the product. -SL
brilliant! didnt know how much I needed one till I got it, Bought 2 one for me and one for my boss, we both love them easy to clip onto trousers, scissor lifters or whatever is available for tying in cables. Only problem is I need another one for metal ties!! 😂😂

These are a good balance of sturdy and light. A day of cable tray is made a bit easier by having the black and white ties out of my pocket and on my belt loop. This is especially handy when I'm in at heights with harness on and I can still easily grab either type without much effort. Possible improvement would be (beening nit picky) thicker aluminum stock for the holder. Probably a single gauge thicker would be best.

Best thing I have spent money on as an apprentice spark! ⚡️ sick of bending over for my ties or strapping them to the sides of my machine to only have to tighten the tie each time I removed a few. The rubber in side is a good touch stops my ties from moving at all! Love it guys !! Will be getting the tradesman one for Christmas soon !
Hi All, the Cable Tie Holder is Great! I first used it at work on Tuesday Night (Shift worker), to Tie up the Traction Motor Cables of a Locomotive so they don't Snag on anything when the Bogies get Shunted, very Handy being able to Carry the Cable Ties on you're belt as you don't have to climb back don't the ladder and grab the bag of Cable ties and climb back up, plus this nifty little device let me move the traction motors cables (which are quite heavy and thick) into position with both hands, so essentially you have a free hand to conveniently reach for a Cable Tie ounce they're in position you can hold the cable in place with one hand and reach for the cable Tie with the other, a bit long winded I know, but I was able to disconnect 12 traction motors in 5 hours (2xMZ class locomotives) anyway great product and I'm not a house sparky, but an Industrial Electrician on Locomotives, so there would be thousands of examples where this product would be handy!
New aluminium model is much better than the old one and the improved spring helps to hold the cable ties better

I have the 3 generations of holders. I was impressed from the beginning. I have been more impressed as the product is developed. Gen 3 on perfect! I run the two gens on my kit for the different lengths I use. I take one with me into a roof with the long ties when running security and camera cables, it just makes life easier.

Ripper idea. Had the old plastic version and now the aluminium, quality is 10x better.
Maybe make a bigger one with a wider hole so I can fit more but overall a good product

Tried the cheap knock offs and regretted it the second I used them! This cable tie holder is the ducks nuts! Feels solid and the spring actually holds tight! Just need to send out more stickers! Bloody appreciate stole it already! Well done gents! Top notch!

I very much like the idea and the way the tie holder works.. and.. I use it alot.. we do alot of cabling jobs.. so.. I'm up on a ladder alot and need to hang loops of cable.. the cons so far: I've noticed that my bunch of ties will gradually fall forward from the weight of the bunch and eventually start falling out.. have to every so often push the bunch back into the holder.. also.. kind of wish the carabiner tightener,/threaded barrel worked better.. it's like when fully tightened the threaded part goes too far up and the threads become useless
You see these things on Facebook and scroll straight past thinking its a gimmick; my last job (I'm a pest controller) was running up and down ladders fixing pigeon nets in a warehouse. I had cable ties flying here, there and bloody everywhere and thought, OK, I'll try it. Been working on the top floor of a carpark today and the cable tie holder is perfect. Does its job and its saved me clearing up time today; gone through over 100 ties so I'm happy with the purchase.

Well packaged well delivered very good product. I have bought cheaper copied versions which fell apart within a week. These are very well-made. The only slight complaint I have is that they could do with being a little lighter.
